Being a bilingual (Spanish) military spouse brings many exciting opportunities, the latest of which is my relocation from Hawaii to Augusta, Georgia in the fall of 2018. Through this move, I now know the excitement of being the first generation in my family to achieve the American dream of home ownership. As this is the second biggest move I have ever undertaken, I am elated that we are now living among such a beautiful and diverse community. (My biggest move? That would be the move to El Salvador for 6 months during my childhood!)
Prior to real estate, I had the satisfaction of supporting our military service members and their families with their health insurance needs by being a Tricare Service Representative throughout the local Oahu Military Treatment Facilities (MTF’s). Being employed by Tricare gave me an opportunity to provide outstanding insurance guidance to our beneficiaries, which in return sparked a desire to enlighten my military ohana (family) in any way possible.
Speaking of family, in our spare time you can find us attending an Augusta GreenJackets baseball game, searching for hole-in-the-wall restaurants, getting a cup of java at one of the great local coffee shops, or looking at new plant selections at my favorite local nursery. The move to the Augusta area has been a great one for us so far, and the fun is just beginning. If you’re new here (or even if you’re not!), I would love to share the journey with you. What’s your story?
