Augusta & Beyond Properties is Hiring

I’m Stacie Wells, broker/owner of Augusta & Beyond Properties. I started this brokerage because I fundamentally believe that those who entrust us to help them buy or sell a home deserve the sort of help we would want for our family members, our kids, siblings, or parents. Someone whose very fortunes and lives are intimately tied to our own. Someone we’d see across that Thanksgiving table. And so I had thought back on my almost two decade long career as an agent and realized I was largely a number in a large brokerage––a number whose job was to produce numbers for the company’s bottom line. I wasn’t a peacemaker, a negotiator, at times a psychologist, or a friend.

Properties, so long as they are priced right, will sell, of course. We all know this. But, and it was a big one…

What if the entire experience was centered on the person at the heart of that transaction? What if the agent in the brokerage was an ambassador of sorts for the community for that young first time buyer who moved to Augusta because of a job and didn’t know a single person there? Or a savvy negotiator but also a protector, a guardian of feelings, if you will, of a seller who’d grown up in the home they had to put on the market because the kids moved away and now had kids of their own, and as such things go, the house here was no longer a home.

And what if the agents were respected for the small kindness of warming up a cup of coffee, dropping off some spare moving boxes or giving their client a much needed hug as much as they are for those production numbers?
